Fahad Albutairi was the first Saudi stand-up comedian to appear on stage professionally in Saudi Arabia and in the Gulf. His debut was on October 2, 2008, opening for Maz Jobrani in Bahrain as part of the "Axis of Evil Comedy Tour".
