Daoud Heidami returns to the stage after recently shooting the feature film You Don't Mess With The Zohan with Adam Sandler. New York Theater credits include: Masked at DR2; Green Zone at Lincoln Center Directors Lab '07; Aswat at New York Theatre Workshop; (I am) Nobody's Lunch at P.S. 122 and 59E59 Theatres (also American Repertory Theatre, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and London's Soho Theater); Unlimited with Slant Theatre Project and Greater Messapia at Queens Theatre in the Park. Selected Regional: The world premiere of 1001 by Jason Grote at the Denver Center Theatre Company (dir. Ethan McSweeney), The King Stag at Seattle Repertory Theatre (dir.Andrei Belgrader); The Tempest at The Shakespeare Theatre (dir. Kate Whoriskey); the world premiere of Charles Mee's Wintertime, directed by Les Waters and Tartuffe, directed by Des McAnuff, both at the La Jolla Playhouse; Sundance Theatre Lab 2005; O'Neill Playwrights Conference 2006. Film & TV: Syriana, "Guiding Light," "Tough Crowd" with Colin Quinn, and "Law and Order."
