By NYAACF
Dec 11, 2005
The New York Arab-American Comedy Festival is going to Los Angeles from January 24th to 26th, 2006! The Arabs are coming!
For the first time ever, the much-acclaimed New York Arab-American Comedy Festival is going on the road as it heads to Los Angeles! The Festival has been featured on national television and radio programs including CNN, NPR, BBC World and in newspapers literally around the world. Critics have raved about our third annual Festival this past November:
"You got to run out and see it right now."
-Soledad O'Brien on CNN's "American Morning" (November 16th, 2005)
"Arab-American Comedians find the funny in a time of fear."
-Associated Press (November 13th, 2005)
"...bombings and comedy make an uneasy alliance, but in the hands of a small group of Arab-American comics the mixture can be an effective tool for shattering stereotyped views of their community."
- Agence France Presse (November 16th, 2005)
Find out why as we bring our edgy and unique brand of humor to LA for two nights of comedic plays (identical program on both nights) and one night of stand up comedy featuring the top Arab-American comics in the country for one special show.
