| Lena Rizkallah |
Lena Rizkallah, a Palestinian-American, made her acting debut in
Live With Pascal and Chantal! at the 2003 NYAACF and the 2004 NYC International Fringe Festival. Lena wrote and acted in
Layla's Sahra for the 2004 NYAACF, and later co-produced it for the 2005 NYC International Fringe Festival. She has written several comedic sketches for the NYAACF, and has performed in various readings and productions for NIBRAS, NYU and other NYC-based theater companies. She has previously performed stand-up comedy at Gotham Comedy Club, Stand-Up New York, The Laugh Factory and New York Comedy Club.
Lena trained with The Upright Citizen's Brigade, The Peoples' Improv Theater, The New School, and she is a graduate of the University of Maryland and Widener University School of Law. Currently, Lena is a public speaker and travels the country writing and lecturing on legislative topics, tax policy and financial markets. She is also working with a NYC-based nonprofit to develop a Financial Education Program for immigrant communities. She is obsessed with reality TV, her dog Luella and her awesome family and friends.
