Kareem Fahmy is happy to be back working with the NYCAAF for the second year in a row. He is a Canadian-born director of Egyptian descent. Credits include: Manifesto, Love Dr. Mueller, One Sixteenth, Professional Skepticism, A First Class Man, The Collected Works of Billy the Kid, Shepard's Curse of the Starving Class, and Brecht's Drums in the Night. He has developed and directed work with Ensemble Studio Theatre, New York Theatre Workshop, Second Stage Theatre, MileSquare Theatre of New Jersey, and as Artistic Director of Montreal's The Alternate Theatre directed the Canadian premieres of Naomi Iizuka's Language of Angels and Suzan-Lori Parks' Venus. He has been a Van Lier Directing Fellow and is a graduate of Columbia's University MFA program in directing.
