Kareem Fahmy
Kareem Fahmy is thrilled to be working with the NYCAAF for the first time. A Canadian native, he is a graduate of McGill University and of Columbia University where he received an MFA in theatre directing. Directing credits, New York: Love Dr. Mueller, One Sixteenth, Don Juan Does New Jersey, Professional Skepticism, A First Class Man, C4: The Chekhov Project, The Collected Works of Billy the Kid, Curse of the Starving Class, Lion in the Streets, Drums in the Night, The Way To Begin, On the Harmful Effects of Tobacco. Montreal: Tales of the Lost Formicans, W/O U I'm Nothing (also playwright), Closer, and the Canadian premieres of Venus and Language of Angels. Kareem is the founder and Artistic Director of The Alternate Theatre and was a Van Lier Directing Fellow at Second Stage Theatre Company. www.KareemFahmy.com.
