Shoshana is thrilled to be part of this amazing festival. She recently received her MFA in Directing from Brooklyn College where she was the recipient of the Buchwald Fellowship.
Before coming to New York, Shoshana lived in Austin where she worked with the Rude Mechs, Salvage Vanguard, Hyde Park Theatre, and the State, among others. Her production of John Walch's play,
Circumference of a Squirrel, won the Austin Critics Table Award for Best Production of a Comedy and she received the award for Best Director for her work on
Seven Deadly Sins — a world premiere series of short plays by Lisa D'amour and Naomi Iizuka et al.
In New York, Shoshana directed Stu and Ray by Trista Baldwin for New Georges'
MANFEST, B. Walker Sampson's
Roosevelt Island for HERE's American Living Room Festival, and
Fragments by Rogelio Martinez for Lincoln Center's Summer Intensive — as well as readings and workshops for Manhattan Theatre Club, New Dramatists, and The Flea Theatre.
Shoshana's production of Eliza Anderson's play
The Water Principle recently opened at The West End Theatre, and she is a member of this year's Soho Rep Writer/Director Lab.
