Ahd Kamel

A native to Saudi Arabia, Kamel received her BFA in Animation and Communication design from Parsons School of Design, in 2004. She also received a diploma in Directing from the New York Film Acadmey, in 2005.

While in school, she had the opportunity to produce a short, Off Duty, (Official selection at Rotterdam and Slam dance) and act as the lead in Razan (Award winning short at the San Francisco film festival). Three Queens, her first directorial short, was also selected at the Newport Beach Film Festival.

In the summer of 2006, Kamel had the opportunity to work as the director's (Peter Berg) personal assistant on his latest film The Kingdom.

She is currently enrolled in the full time program in acting at the William Esper Studio studying with Mr.Esper.
